What Is Color Temperature?
Color temperature describes the appearance of the light emitted by a bulb, from warm (yellowish) tones to cool (bluish) tones. It’s measured on the Kelvin scale (K):
- Lower Kelvin (2000K–3500K) = Warm Light
- Mid Kelvin (3500K–4500K) = Neutral White Light
- Higher Kelvin (4600K–6500K+) = Cool Light
Warm Light (2000K–3500K)
- Color: Soft yellow to golden white
- Common in: Living rooms, bedrooms, dining areas

- Bulbs: Often labeled as Soft White or Warm White
